Tomodachi Life Collection 02

Tomodachi Life, a life simulation game for the 3DS, has been rumoured to be getting a Western release for a while now. It takes your Miis and puts them in a world where they can interact with Miis belonging to people you know, celebrities, people you StreetPass with, and more. They build friendships, work, exercise, and basically live out their own lives within the game.

Today, Tomodachi Life was confirmed for a Western release. A special Nintendo Direct video has just been released for the game, with a release date of June 6th announced for both North America and Europe. You can watch the North American announcement below:

It looks to me like Sims for Miis. I had zero interest in this game until I watched the trailer posted above, as it’s just so silly and I love that kind of silliness.

I think I actually might give this game a try, which is not something I would have said before tonight. Are any of you planning to pick up the game? What do you make of this localisation news? Let us know in the comments below!

Wow! One of the biggest DS/3DS games to go unlocalized, I’d pretty much given up hope.

I didn’t knew I wanted this until I saw the video.
