ShinyLoot - Forever Alone Sale | oprainfall

Are you sad and lonely and looking towards Valentines Day with dread? Well, ShinyLoot is having a Forever Alone Sale that might cheer you up! (or not) The sale takes a twist on the usual message of Valentine’s Day and says instead that “All you need is a mouse, a keyboard, and your personal computer to warm that bitter heart.” This sale features over one hundred and seventy single player games available for up to 80%. There is also to be a new 24 hour deal every day of the week during the Forever Alone Sale, which ends on February 16th.

The games may be single player and signify that you are forever alone, but there is a wide range of genres to select from. There are visual novels, RPG’s, platform games. a couple dungeon crawlers, and much more. They all feature no intrusive DRM and are available worldwide without regional pricing, since lonely hearts can be found all over! In addition to the regular download offered, over one hundred of the games have Desura and Steam codes. I may not be ‘forever alone’ but I am definitely going to stock-up on some PC games thanks to this sale!

Press Release:

ShinyLoot Hosts 170 Game ‘Forever Alone Sale’

Austin, Texas, February 10, 2014 — ShinyLoot, an independently developed game distribution platform, announces today the start of their Forever Alone Sale. Starting today and running through February 16th, over one hundred seventy single player games will be discounted by up to 80%.

The sale twists the usual message of Valentine’s Day, stating to single men and women that “All you need is a mouse, a keyboard, and your personal computer to warm that bitter heart.” To bring some substance to the joke, the store coordinated with their developers to discount a third of the store’s indie-centric library. All of these games are best experienced playing alone and will be on sale for a full week. The store will also be hosting a new 24 hour deal every day of the week during the Forever Alone Sale.

About ShinyLoot:
The ShinyLoot store fully opened to the public on August 26, 2013. It was founded as the solution to the growing number of high-quality, independently-developed games that were falling under the radar. Based in Austin, Texas, the company is independently owned and operated. ShinyLoot uses a trait-based filter system with nearly two hundred individual game features to search PC, Mac, and Linux games that help users get matched to games that best fit their interests. All games are offered worldwide without regional pricing, and with no obtrusive forms of DRM. Additionally, ShinyLoot offers Desura and Steam keys on over a hundred titles, in addition to the regular downloads and an optional download manager for ease of management.
