Persona 4 Golden Battle Screen

I know most of us already have Persona 4 Golden, but for the few who don’t, it is on sale! The game can be yours for $19.99 plus shipping. If you are unsure about the game, check out our review. I own this game and haven’t played it yet! Feel bad for me… very bad! Anyhow, click the link below to purchase your very own copy of the game, and don’t be like me and take a year or more to play it! Enjoy!

About Crystal Colwell

What's up everyone? Crystal here! I spend my time writing up the news for you all and keeping us all up to date with incoming game info from Japan. I do a little bit of everything else around here, too. 🙂 Happy Reading!

I actually own both the original PS2 disc and the Vita Golden version and I think it’s a pretty great game all around. The only negative I have against it is that your limited by a certain amount of in-game days to progress the story or it’s game over, and almost everything you do will move the day forward by a segment of that day. I tend to like roaming around and do all that I can and progressing a story when ‘I’ feel like it, but Persona 4 (and I believe Persona 3 to an extent.) commands that you do things on it’s time, not yours.

It’s really not that bad. you usually have 2-3 weeks to clear the dungeon, and you can do that in 2 nights early on, and 1 night after you get the fox.

    • Jonah Rosen

I’m not saying it’s bad, that not really the point. the point is that I’m the kind of guy who likes to loiter around and do things on his own time. You only got an in-game year to do EVERYTHING you want, main story, side-quest related, OR just filling out the entire persona compendium and skill book. (unless those things carry over in a new game+, then nevermind.)

    • Steve Baltimore

Your compendium carries over to new game+, also the items you obtain from maxing out the social links carries over. Though you will have to redo all of the social links again if you want to try and max them all out in one run.

    • Jonah Rosen

Oh, that’s cool! So it’s not as bad as I thought, though I’m still not completely fond of the idea of being rushed. (which is funny, considering I LOVE Majora’s Mask.)

    • chris

You forgot the most important part. Your social stats carry over as well. So You can focus on the links instead of worrying about Knowledge, expression, etc.

I was watching this price war between Amazon and Shark distributors over the course of the past week or two (You can monitor the changes by leaving both in your cart). As soon as Amazon sold out, the robo-pricing put it back up to $27 for Shark. Still might be a good idea to order from Amazon since the price will inevitably be nearly $30 when it’s back in stock, but we will gradually see it decrease again over two weeks.
