Each month, Club Nintendo offers a selection of games as rewards. The selection consists of Virtual Console and eShop games. Let’s check out what they’re offering this month.

  • Mario’s Picross (100 coins) for 3DS
  • Starship Defense (150 coins) for 3DS
  • Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (150 coins) for Wii and Wii U
  • Balloon Fight (200 coins) for Wii U

Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, simply known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan, is the original NES version of what we saw in the SNES compilation Super Mario All-Stars. With classic Mario gameplay and challenging levels, this is an offer you should take advantage of. The game is for the Wii Virtual Console, but you can play it on your Wii U as well. Balloon Fight is worth checking out since it’s a game for the not-well-stocked Wii U Virtual Console. Starship Defense is a tower-defense game originally released as DSiWare. Rounding it off is the classic Gameboy puzzle game, Mario’s Picross, for the 3DS Virtual Console.

All of these game rewards are only available until January 12. Spend your coins wisely, as I’m sure more great games will be available next time.

Meh not a very good selection this month to be honest…

Tottaly agreed, the worst part is I delayed getting into club Nintendo for years(because of laziness), but since I registered there is only bad games, or game I already have.

I’d probably grab Lost Levels if it were the 3DS version. Why no cross-buy Nintendo? WHY?
