Evangelion 3.33: Logo oprainfall

Fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion are all too familiar with the “Rebuild” series of films. For those of you who aren’t, consider them a retelling of Evangelion that does a myriad of things that even the most studied series could never see coming. While many expected news of the third film’s English dub to be announced after Toonami recently aired Evangelion 2.22…turns out Funimation was saving something special for New York Comic Con 2013! Here’s more, straight from the source:

If you’re in New York next weekend for New York Comic Con you will NOT want to miss the English premiere of the highly anticipated third installment in the Evangelion rebuild series! It will be screening at New York Comic Con on Friday, Oct. 11th, at 8pm on the Main Stage (1-D). Mike McFarland (ADR Director for the movie) and Spike Spencer (English Voice of Shinji Ikari) will both be guests of the convention, and their autograph sessions are as follows:

– Saturday @ 4:30pm – Autograph 6
– Sunday @ 12pm – Autograph 7

Also relevant—here’s the full cast for the English dub:

Shinji Spike Spencer
