The Playstation 3 version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will have an extra playable character. That character is Kokonoe, who is a catgirl. She is known for helping guide you using the humorous Help Me! Professor Kokonoe segments. She brings a hammer and wrench into the battle, but also science! The game is slated for release in Japan on October 24, 2013 and North America in early 2014.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will feature five new characters and two new downloadable characters. New moves will be available for your old friends and new characters to pull off as well. The game will also feature a variety of modes to keep players entertained.

What's up everyone? Crystal here! I spend my time writing up the news for you all and keeping us all up to date with incoming game info from Japan. I do a little bit of everything else around here, too. 🙂 Happy Reading!

It is actually Kokonoe, you forgot the third o between the n and the e.

So it is! Thank you for pointing that out.

  • Why does no one call out ASW for iterating over and over on the same game like they do Capcom?

Probably because this game is a Visual Novel as well as a Fighter. A few of us actually get the games to see what the hell could happen next in this convoluted story of theirs. That’s not something Capcom does with their fighters. And to be honest, have you seen how much the roster sized has increased for BB since Calamity Trigger. The IP hasn’t been around for that long either.

I must admit though that I was quite angry when BB:CS came out and then EX not long after. So I’ve decided to never buy a BB game until after the definitive version/dlc come out. I got BB: CSEX collectors edition for only like 20 bucks because of that xD
