XSEED seems to be teasing something mysterious, and they’re certainly not giving us much to base speculations on. Recently, the official XSEED Games Twitter tweeted this image:

Don’t worry, you’re not crazy and there’s nothing wrong with your monitor. That is just a beige/off-white square. Obviously there is tons of room for speculation about what XSEED could be teasing with this post, and as of now they have yet to comment on the image. However, given recent events, it’s not unreasonable to suspect that this may be a teaser for a Senran Kagura title.

Towards the end of last month, XSEED registered the domain “HanzoNationalAcademy.com”. This is telling, since the Senran Kagura games revolve around Hanzo Academy,  a school which trains promising young girls in the art of ninjutsu. While there are several Senran Kagura games, it’s most likely that Senran Kagura Burst: The Crimson Girls for the Nintendo 3DS or Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus: The Girls’ Proof for the Vita will be localized.

If you’re looking to know more about the Senran Kagura series, be sure to check out Senran International Academy, a member of the oprainfall Campaign Hub which hopes to see the games localized for North America.

Let us know in the comments what you think XSEED might be teasing, and your thoughts on what you hope it is or isn’t!
