Pricefall: Steam and Amazon

It’s that time of the year again, folks. With Steam kicking off its seasonal Summer Getaway Sale event all week, there will be lots of games with reduced prices that will make your wallets melt. For each day, there will be a set of games on display at the front page, including Flash Sales that will be happening every eight hours. There is also a poll for Steam Community members to vote to see which games will be on sale; and for today, the Community chose Grand Theft Auto IV, which will be on sale today for $4.99 (was $19.99) for the next eight hours.

Select games will have Trading Cards that you can use to craft game badges and earn rewards.

Please keep in mind that the games listed below are merely a fraction of what is currently on sale. To see more games that are currently discounted, you can head over to Steam right now and browse to your heart’s content.

Pricefall: Steam and Amazon

Additionally, Amazon is offering a sales event of its own for video games, and with plenty of interesting games that may suit your fancy; but, you have to act fast, because, while Steam is beginning its sales event, Amazon’s is ending on July 14. This deal is for PC and Mac downloads consisting of individual titles, bundles, indie games and more. As the sales event consists of so many titles, the games that were selected were those that were recognizable and — more importantly — playable. Also, buying indie games on Amazon during the sale can also grant you extra free games.

AMAZON DIGITAL GAMES SUMMER SALE – June 30 – July 14

That’s a lot of games, right? And pretty cheap too! If there are any games you’re looking for during this post, you can always head on over to Steam and Amazon to gloss over and find what you like.

While the summer sale is almost over for Amazon, the Steam Summer Getaway Sale is just beginning, so make sure you keep up with the updates between now and July 22!
