During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, more details were released on Crytek and Microsoft’s highly anticipated game Ryse: Son of Rome. The game will now be coming to the Xbox One and doesn’t seem to be a Kinect game anymore. Ryse: Son of Rome is very combat-heavy, with a similar combat style to Assassin’s Creed and quick-time events to counter attacks. A gameplay trailer showed the player’s squad forming a phalanx and marching toward a wall with archers constantly firing. The player could hold the A button to block enemy arrows with shields.
