Fieldrunners 2

Fieldrunners 2 is coming to the Vita this summer. Although it isn’t specified, this will likely be a PSN title and not a retail box release.

Originally released for the iOS platform last September, Fieldrunners 2 is a tower defense game where you build turrets to stop the waves of enemy soldiers, jeeps, tanks, planes, and even zeppelins. You’ll have more than just bullets at your disposal. Some shoot rockets. Some throw fire. And one throws beehives full of angry bees.

A couple of months after the game was released, Subatomic Studios, the developers of the game, released a couple of new holiday themed towers and items. All of which will be included in this version.

Sony handhelds are no stranger to the series. The studio has ported the first Fieldrunners as a PSP Mini back in 2009.

About Karli Winata

Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?
