Shin Megami Tensei IV

4Gamer has released 10 minutes of new Shin Megami Tensei IV gameplay from Japan. The footage gives a glimpse at the game’s opening sequence, a few battles, parts of a dungeon, and some demon fusion. We also get to see some more of the impressive interface of the in-game navigation system, and the gorgeous visuals you can see while walking through the world of Shin Megami Tensei IV. There is a lot more to see and you can view the amazing gameplay for yourself here:

Gamers will finally get a chance to play when Shin Megami Tensei IV releases in North America on July 16th and in Europe at a later, unannounced, date.

  • Matt

Some people complaining about the graphics in the YT comments. I think it’s a beautiful mix of new and old school, personally. UI refinement of Persona meets traditional SMT. That’s, like, honestly the best combination out there for someone like me.

    • I have no idea what they’re talking about. Most of the recent games had sprites , and I’ve had no problem with that, and the dungeons look pretty impressive, probably a bit more so with the 3D.

  • Looks like you select the skills inherited in fusion. That’s always a huge plus, saves so much time button mashing for the ones you want.
