It’s here! It’s here! It’s fina-lully here! After several years of being denied, Nintendo is finally releasing Earthbound on the Virtual Console in North America and Europe. In honor of this, the Operation Rainfall Retro Commercial Research Team (in other words, me) shall present to you commercials for Earthbound in this week’s Retro Wrap-Up…
…is what I would be saying, if Nintendo of America had bothered to make any commercials, aside from this one. So instead, here are the commercials from all three Mother games in this week’s Foreign Wrap-Up.
Here are the highlights from this week.
David Fernandes reviews Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Oscar Tong reviews From Up On Poppy Hill, Jonathan Higgins reviews the Fire Emblem: Awakening – Knights of Iris art book and Daniel Gulyas reviews Chu Chu Rocket in this week’s Games of the Past review.
There was a rumor going around that Majora’s Mask was getting the remake treatment for the 3DS, ala Ocarina of Time. That rumor has been busted…sort of.
There was apparently going to be a Mega Man X shooter made by some of the guys behind Metroid Prime. Emphasis on the word “was”.
