Shin Megami Tensei IV

Atlus has showered us with plenty of screens and trailers for Shin Megami Tensei IV, but so far they’ve yet to release any localized media. Enter the gift that keeps on giving that is last Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct.

The US Nintendo Direct only talked about the Special Edition first print for Shin Megami Tensei IV outlining all the goodies. But the UK territories were treated to a video of the localized version of the game complete with English text and voiceovers. Unfortunately, you can’t hear much of the dialogue with Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata describing the game. Take a look below. The SMT IV portion of the video starts at 35:34.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is slated for a July 16 release in North America. The release date in Europe has not yet been announced.

About Karli Winata

Karli Winata is an avid gamer with a taste for a little bit of everything. Except for sports games. And racing sims. And definitely not hidden object games! I guess everything is too broad a term. Suffice it to say that he has been known to play hours of Call of Duty multiplayer in between bouts of Persona fusing and Star Coin collecting while saving the world/galaxy through sensibly bald space marines or plucky teenagers with impossible hairstyles. Where does he find the time to write about them?
