RuneScape 3

RuneScape 3? Wait, when did RuneScape 2 come out? Well, it seems that each numeric entry in the RuneScape “series” is an update to the RuneScape client. Now the web client uses HTML5, which is actually pretty cool (the game used to use a Java client). You can find out more in the video here.

This could actually get me playing RuneScape. I’m curious to see what is possible in HTML5, and a full free-to-play MMO is a great test of the capabilities of the language. But on the other hand, I’m coming at this as a frustrated coder.

Anything you’re interested to see about the next RuneScape experience?
