As if the latest update on artbooks from UDON Entertainment’s blog wasn’t grand enough. UDON announced at PAX East that they will be localizing five more artbooks that will certainly appeal to fans of these specific games. (SPOILER ALERT: I’m drooling already)

The five artbooks include the: Asura’s Wrath: Official Complete Works (which will have 192 pages, and “includes character designs, CG art, storyboards, creator commentary, and exclusive interviews”), Dragon’s Dogma: Official Design Works (which will have 312 pages, and “includes character designs, armor and weapon designs, monster designs, locations, and creator commentary”), Monster Hunter Illustrations 2 (which will have 400 pages,” covers all third generation MH titles – Monster Hunter Tri, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate”, “includes monster designs, character designs, weapons, armor, rough sketches and more”, and if that’s not enough — they will be reprinting the first Monster Hunter Illustrations alongside the second!), and SF25: The Art of Street Fighter. (which will contain 448 pages, “includes art from all of the classic Street Fighter games”, “new art from Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter X Tekken, and more”, “new game developer interviews”, “new Tribute artwork from Akiman, Shinkiro, Hyung-tae Kim, Daisuke Ishiwatari, and more!”)

Monster Hunter Illustrations Cover

Last and certainly not least, the MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works (Or R20+5 for short) artbook, which as the title says, includes not only 432 pages, but “all the classic artwork from the Mega Man and Mega Man X series”, “NEW artwork, and rough concepts from Mega Man 9 and 10”, “New game developer interviews”, and “New Tribute art from Hitoshi Ariga, Toru Nakayama, Shigeto Ikehara, and more!”.

It can’t be said enough, UDON you rock! Thank you whole heartily for these 5 books, including doing the reprint for the first Monster Hunter Illustrations, a very kind act you don’t see too often. Check back for more updates on these items as they come.
