Crash Bandicoot

A countdown for a new Crash Bandicoot had been released, and then pulled, due to it supposedly being revealed before it’s time.  Apparently someone had taken a low-res screen shot of this countdown, which showed the various platforms the game would be launching on.

Vicarious Visions is supposedly developing the new Crash Bandicoot game.  In January a possible redesign of Crash Bandicoot had been spotted in a official photo from Vicarious Visions and there has been no confirmation the game in question as previously stated.  Take this rumor as as you may but, as for myself, I’m quite optimistic that this rumor will turn out to be true.

Let us know what are your thoughts on this rumor!

  • I thought Crash Bandicoot was a Sony character. What’s he doing going to a Nintendo and Microsoft console?

    • This a rumor and that is subject to change but I wont mind seeing it on different consoles.

Crash hasn’t been owned by Sony for over a decade now. His first non-Sony appearance was Wrath of Cortex, which was released in 2001 for the PS2, GC, and Xbox.

    • I guess now I know I’ve only ever played his games on PS systems.

Crash has never been a Sony character. Universal Interactive Studios, the original IP owners, joint published it for the PS1 but alter put it on cross platform

When it was made by Naughty dog it was but not since ps1
