Kemco has quite a few JRPGs in Google Play, but now, they’re celebrating the release of another JRPG Silver Nornir. I’ve gotta say, it has a really intriguing premise for a plot. As is the norm for the genre, you lead a group of heroes to attempt to save the world. Seems easy enough right? There’s a twist. The world has already been destroyed twice before.
It’s a pretty cool hook that echoes Final Fantasy VI a bit, while still keeping a lot of room for what looks like a really unique battle system, which, judging by the trailer below, seems to have a lot going for it. They’re calling it a “wide” battle screen, which means that it’s supposed to be very positioning heavy. You’ve gotta give Kemco some credit here; they always seem to add a few twists to the combat to keep it fresh. All in all, it seems like a solid addition to what’s already a pretty solid lineup. It’ll normally be priced at $ 7.99, but they’re knocking that down to $ 2.99 for the launch window. The Google Play link is here.
That’s not the only new game they’re releasing however. They’ve also got a new “Escape-the Room” puzzler in Escape from Castle Orochi. In it, you have to save a kidnapped princess, but to do so, you have to go to a mysterious castle that nobody has escaped from before. The game runs $ 1.99, and looks more than capable if that’s your cup of tea. You can pick it up on Google Play here.
