Ahh, my fellow Europeans. It seems it has come to pass that the eagerly awaited Fire Emblem: Awakening is now available to pre-order in our far away land. This also includes the 3DS XL bundle, which is exclusive to our shores – *secret European high five*.

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Amazon UK currently have the bundle price at £219.99, which is roughly €253 and $338 for any of you curious Americans thinking about importing.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is due to release in Europe on April 19th, 2013 from the 3DS eShop. A digital version will also be available to download on the same date. Only two months to wait!

If you need any further convincing on getting this game, then check out this newly released accolades trailer:

About David Rawlings

David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.

  • If the 3DS XL Bundle had come out over here (North America) I would have traded my 3DS in on it in a heart beat but, I didn’t see the point of trading in my 3DS to get another 3DS lol.

  • SecretX

their only getting this because of bad sales, not fair i want it 🙁

    • No, we are getting this because we have a delay on game and the XL version is a sorry from NoE to their EU fans. Releasing an XL version makes a lot more sense too, I’m surprised NoA didn’t do the same thing. As for poor sales, customers can only buy as many as they print. Old preowned FE games sell for well above their original retail price here so clearly there is a demand. They are just like golddust to find! Not to mention no advertising, its a wonder anyone has heard about the series over here! I only heard about it through playing Super Smash Bros and then had to hunt high and low to find the GBA carts!

  • I still needed to get a 3DS when this was coming out. I just ended up buying the XL and game separately…but it would have been nice to get this package in the U.S. too.

  • I am still waiting for the retail version. Gamestop and Walmart still do not have the game (standalone version) where I live. The only thing they have is the bundled version.
