Nintendo Direct

Nintendo announced today that there will be a Wii U focused Nintendo Direct at 6 am PT/9 am ET.   There they will discuss several upcoming games and apps for the Wii U.

Tune in tomorrow to the Nintendo Direct website, or catch our summary article shortly after the debut.

If anyone else is like me, I’m curious as to what Nintendo has in store for the future of the Wii U.  What do you think they’ll be announcing tomorrow?

  • Release dates for some launch window games, mentioning the Resident Evil: Revelations HD port, and maybe some more details about Pikmin 3. I wouldn’t count on anything beyond that, though.

  • TwinTails

They can’t just tell us about games and features that we already know are coming. That would just be redundant and show that Nintendo really has nothing else they can give us.

I really do look forward to what the future holds for Wii U in the coming April to December, Ive been seeing so many doom/gloom articles that Nintendo just needs to step in and prove them wrong.

    • Well, actually they could, since we don’t know release dates for games like Pikmin 3 or The Wonderful 101 yet.

  • a new Earthbound game?, Xenoblade Chronicles 2? Why am I not excited.

  • I’m hoping they’ll show of some multiplatform games coming to the Wii U, but previous experience is keeping me from expecting that. More than likely they’ll be talking about games we already know about like Lego City, Monster Hunter, and Pikmin.

  • I’m hoping for some more stuff on Monster Hunter. It’s also worth noting that Soraya Saga retweeted this; for those who don’t know, she’s married to the owner of Monolith Soft, and has worked with him on several games. I’m guessing Monolith are going to be revealing their Wii U project.

    • And if that project is announced on a North American Nintendo Direct feed, it stands to reason to believe that NOA is taking legitimate interest in localizing the game. Whatever it is, and of course assuming that a Monolithsoft announcement is actually made.

Iwata is tweeting that there will be NEW games announced in this ND!
