Rice Digital

Rice Digital, a company devoted to Japanese Doujin games (or simply put Indie games) like the horizontal shooters Ether Vapor Remaster and Satazius, the three vertical shmups that make up the eXceed Collection Gun Bullet Children/Vampire REX/Jade Penetrate Black Package, adventure title Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, and beat ’em up action game Fairy Bloom Freesia, have announced some big news! They have recently set up a headquarters in Europe to try and make these types of niche games more accessible for Western audiences.

Their website will act as both a digital store for the games they currently offer and feature titles through their portal, which PQube and Zen United are both behind. Also, it will act as a news front for all of the latest important announcements from the Doujin scene. Not only that, but they have announced a special promotion where if the game they’re currently offering, Eryi’s Action, gets 1,000 votes on Steam Greenlight, they will be offering 1,000 free copies of the game to those lucky few. They have plans to continue updating the website early next year so stay tuned!
