Sol Trigger, a role-playing game for the PSP developed by Imageepoch, was released in Japan on October 4, 2012.  It has yet to be announced whether or not the game will be brought to countries outside of Japan – still, there’s a possibility, since Imageepoch has registered the trademark for the title in both Japanese and English.

Now, there’s a chance of a Sol Trigger 2 coming out for the PlayStation Vita!

In a recent 4Gamer interview with Imageepoch’s president Ryoei Mikage and Sol Trigger artist Shuji Sogabe, both individuals expressed interest in bringing Sol Trigger to the PlayStation Vita.  President Mikage stated that he might have Sogabe do the character designs for PlayStation Vita for the next Sol Trigger.  Sogabe echoed the sentiment, stating that he also wants to try designing Sol Trigger 2 for the PlayStation Vita.  Nothing is certain yet, but with two of the leading Imageepoch staff supporting the idea, it’s certainly a good sign.
