La Pucelle: Tactics

Yesterday, NISA announced that they will be holding a contest with the prize being PSN codes for a PlayStation 2 JRPG you might or might not be familiar with, La Pucelle: Tactics, which was released back in May 4, 2004 in North America. (With the Pal region waiting almost a year later)

For those unfamiliar with the game, La Pucelle: Tactics is an isometric, tactical RPG that would pave the road for future titles that share the same approach in gameplay that Nippon Ichi would soon after be famous for.  Titles like Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, and Soul Nomad to name a few.

The rules are simple: just submit your name, birthday, and email address at the link here to enter the giveaway. They will be taking entries until October 15, 2012. Winning submissions will receive their voucher code via email. Good luck to all of you would-be overlords out there!

Bingo.  We’d love to throw a contest ourselves here, but not yet.  For now everyone needs to go to that link.

  • *NOTE* – To everyone who posted their info here, please delete it and post it in the given link. (It will have a form that will let you type out what info you need to give)

  • For those unfamiliar with La Pucelle, it originally released in Japan in 2002 but didn’t go to NA until 2004 and EU/AUS in 2005.  The more popular Disgaea was release in both JPN and NA in 2003 (EU/AUS 2004), so for everyone except Japan, La Pucelle seemed to come after Disgaea, not before.  Keep that in mind as you play it as it is a great game for seeing how NIS would further develop to Disgaea, and from there the Strategy/Tactical RPG giant they are now. So if La Pucelle seems a bit of a backstep from Disgaea, that is why.

  • I won!

      Sweet! Congrats
