Ragnarok Odyssey

New details have been announced regarding the  PS Vita RPG Ragnarok Odyssey. The game will have 6 different jobs and will feature a card system by the likes of its predecessor Ragnarok Online.

The 6 different classes are Hammersmith, Assassin, Sword Warrior, Cleric,  Mage, and Hunter. The Hammersmith class deals heavy damage while the Hunter and Assassin class have priority in range and speed respectively. Cleric’s MO is defense alongside healing magic and the Mage class specialize in elemental magic. Out of all the classes, the one that seems to be the most stat-balanced/beginner friendly would be the Sword Warrior.

The card system will reward players for defeating monsters based on how rare the monster is and can also be bought from various shops. The cards will be used alongside the armor in the game, as armor will have whats called a ” Card Capacity Gauge” an upgradeable system that will increase the number of cards that can be equipped at the same time.

Ragnarok Odyssey will be released this month for the PS Vita. No specific date has been given.
