Namco Bandai has released another trailer for Tales of Xillia 2, this time showing off the game’s impressive animated opening by famed studio Ufotable, who also worked on the games predecessor’s opening and animated cutscenes. Their material is impressive, going so far as being compared to Production I.G, another famed company who is known for impressive visual feats in animation.
Their work spans from anime: Ninja Nonsense, Futakoi Alternative, Coyote Ragtime Show, Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!, and the recent Fate/Zero (Prequel to the original source Fate/Stay Night), and also includes the animated film series and OVA, Kara no Kyoukai, and the OVA for Tales of Symphonia. Besides Tales of Xillia 1 & 2, they also worked on God Eater Burst, and Black Rock Shooter: The Game.
Tales of Xillia 2 will launch in Japan on November of this year.
