A new trailer has been revealed for Professor Layton and the Legacy of Super Civilization A.  The trailer was first shown at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.  Check it out for a peak at what’s to come in what is billed as Professor Hershel Layton’s last adventure.

Professor Layton and the Legacy of Super Civilization A is the sixth game in the Professor Layton series, the third game in the Prequel trilogy, and the last game to star Layton.  The game will also be the second to appear on the Nintendo 3DS behind Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, which is set to release in North America on October 28th.  The games are puzzle adventures in which you lead Professor Layton and his assistant Luke Triton through the various stories.

Outside of what you see in the trailer, little is known about the game itself.  It is expected to be released in Japan next year and, given the localization of the last two games, could be released in the Western world in 2014.

  • I’m really sad that this is the last Layton game, but, if this trailer is anything to go by, at least it will end on a high note.
