SUPPORT OPRAINFALL BY TURNING OFF ADBLOCK

Ads support the website by covering server and domain costs. We're just a group of gamers here, like you, doing what we love to do: playing video games and bringing y'all niche goodness. So, if you like what we do and want to help us out, make an exception by turning off AdBlock for our website. In return, we promise to keep intrusive ads, such as pop-ups, off oprainfall. Thanks, everyone!

Looking for an RPG this weekend but not wanting to spend too much (or anything)?  Look no further than GOG.com.  If you take a survey on GOG.com, you will receive a free copy of Realms of Arkania 1+2.  The offer is good until September 17th at 9:59 am GMT (4:59 am ET; 1:59 am PT).

Realms of Arkania 1+2 (Blade of Destiny and Star Trail) comprises the first two games of what is known as the Northlands Trilogy (the third game being Shadows over Riva).  Originally released in the early 90’s for the Amiga and MS-DOS, the games were the first video games in the German pen & paper RPG series Das Schwarze Auge (literal translation: The Black Eye; it was simply known as The Dark Eye in English).  The games have been generally well received by critics and gamers alike.

Realms of Arkania 1+2 was developed by Attic Entertainment and is currently published by Fantasy Productions.  If you can’t get to the survey before time expires, the game is available for $5.99.  And if you already have the game, you may still take the survey and gift the game to a friend.  Codes for the game will be issued once all survey entries are in.
