Original Article:

Ace Attorney fans, take note: Capcom has finally revealed what Famitsu readers were waiting for, and it’s as good as it gets.

Hopefully, fans will have no further OBJECTIONS.

Ace Attorney 5, originally revealed back in January, is officially a 3DS game. No Apollo Justice here – the main character is once again Phoenix Wright, albeit with a new partner.

About Will Whitehurst

Will joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign soon after news broke of that infamous French interview about Xenoblade. Subsequently, he got actively involved and became a staff member in July/August 2011. He is currently the head of the Japanese translation team, and loves to play, discuss, debate and learn more about games. Will gravitates towards unconventional action games and RPGs, but plays pretty much anything except Madden. He is also currently attending college, honing his Japanese skills and preparing for medical school. (Coincidentally, Trauma Center is one of his favorite game series of all time.)

  • Heck yeah!  Capcom has a ton of games to localize and crap ton of cash to rake in after releasing them to a Western market.

  • Considering we didn’t get the second installment of that Edgeworth game I’m curious if the fifth ace attorney will make it to the usa without too much trouble. That was a spin off though so maybe the fifth mainline series will be easier to get here.

  • Kai

How does “6211” read “1129” when flipped around? What direction were you flipping it in?

    • Richard Ross

      Wondering that as well.

  • I’m happy to see Phoenix back in action in Ace Attorney 5, but how exactly is that going to work? I thought he left the whole defense lawyer business in Apollo Justice.

    • At the end of Apollo Justice, he hinted that he was going to take the bar exam again.

  • And it’s coming to the US!  And the crowd goes wild!  Wahoo!

    • Now if only Capcom could bring Ace Attorney Investigations 2 to international audiences…
