While Capcom has announced a new IP in the form of Remember Me at this years Gamescom. Capcom had back in July that news of Monster Hunter would be coming soon saying this:

I know exactly how it feels to be lacking a new MH game for a while… patience is a virtue, right? Eventually it pays off somehow… we’ll have something veeeeery soon 😉

People were hoping that Gamescom would be that time. Alas it was not to be. Today Capcom eml Yuri L. Araujo

There’s a right time and place for everything… but I assure you that, as a MH fan myself, I don’t like making you wait; but I have to. Sorry. Good news: there is an end to this madness. Bad news: just like I said in the other thread, I hate making you wait… but I have to. =(

I bet it’s either 3G or 4 unless they announce Frontier for the west. No choice but to wait patiently :))

  • Zimmer Remmiz

As long as we get MH4 at some point I’ll be happy…

    • Same, I don’t care how long it takes(well maybe a little) I just want 4 in the west.

  • DunbansBiggestFanForever

kind of them to respond to us.

  • I’m going to assume it’s the 4th installment. Not much of a point to bringing 3G over when we already have Monster Hinter Tri.

    • Sorry, but wrong. There is absolutely a point to bringing 3G over. Monster hunter works a lot like the pokemon games, with an “expansion” at the end of every generation. Unlike pokemon, however, the MH expansions are HUGE. Have you bothered to learn anything about Tri G at all?

    • If Monster Hunter Tri sold well below Capcom’s expectations in the west, why would they believe the expansion (3G) would sell better?

    • well for starters they fixed the god awful underwater combat. added a lot more missions and large beasts to hunt as well. MH Tri had the least amount of content of any MH game

    •  Below expectations? Were they REALLY expecting it to sell millions?
It sold ~600K in the west. I’d say that’s pretty damn good.

    • I’m more interested in 4 myself. If only because I already have 3 and I want the next installment.

  • Seems like we’ll be getting Monster Hunter after all. That’s a good thing to know.
