The Tales RPG series is incredibly popular in Japan. Or at least it’s more popular there than it is in the US. With the recent Tales of Xillia announcement and the release of Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike in North America, it looks like that’s starting to change. Here’s another thing I should add to my Tales requests to bug Namco with.

The Good Smile company decided to release a new series of Nendoroids, or small plastic figurines, based on the Tales series in Japan. They’ll be available for 500 yen a piece or as a box of eight for 4000 yen. So far, we know that Vesperia, Graces, and Xillia will be represented with at least two characters from each series.

Vesperia is my favorite Tales game thus far, so I’ll obviously be gunning for the Yuri and Estelle figures. Although, if they decided to make some figurines based on, that would be boss.

In the mean time, play with Yuri Lowell the only way us Westerners can, in Tales of Vesperia for the 360.
