Quite popular among Operation Rainfall staff and supporters is an RPG franchise called “Persona.”  A spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series, Persona games have a modern setting and typically revolve around the social lives of High School students (though of course with mind warping stories about monsters and magic).  The most recent entry in the franchise, Persona 4, has already had several ports/remakes, 1 of which is coming soon to the Playstatation Vita handheld gaming platform.

Persona 4 Arena is a 2D sprite based fighter featuring characters from the Persona 4 role playing game.  The game is developed by Arc System Works, who are best known for the fighting game franchises Guilty Gear, and BlazBlue.

Atlus has released the following trailer for the game, which is due out this summer for the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 home video game consoles.

  • It is amazingly weird hearing Adachi’s voice come from Yu, but then the same actor did perform both English roles in Persona 4. Otherwise, it’s too early to say how I feel about the casting changes, as both Chie and Teddie have different actors now.
