What will the Assassin's Creed: Liberation character look like?

The latest Game Informer magazine has revealed some info about an Assassin’s Creed game coming to the Vita. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation is set to be released on the Vita the same day that Assassin’s Creed III will be released, October 30th.

This game will essentially be a spin-off from the main series, as you don’t get to play as Connor (aww) or Desmond (YAAAAY!!!). While Connor does make a cameo in the game, it will instead have a new character that will be strapped into the Animus to play the first playable female assassin in the franchise’s history named Aveline. She is a French/African who lives in New Orleans, where the game takes place. So, if nothing else, at least her accent will be fun to listen to.

Ubisoft Sofia, the game’s developers, also said that it will have “true Assassin’s Creed gameplay” and “multiplayer specifically tailored for the Vita”, which apparently makes use of the touch screen and the back touch pad for things like pickpocketing.

You can expect to hear more details on this game during E3.
