SUPPORT OPRAINFALL BY TURNING OFF ADBLOCK

Ads support the website by covering server and domain costs. We're just a group of gamers here, like you, doing what we love to do: playing video games and bringing y'all niche goodness. So, if you like what we do and want to help us out, make an exception by turning off AdBlock for our website. In return, we promise to keep intrusive ads, such as pop-ups, off oprainfall. Thanks, everyone!

Almost a year has passed since the creation of Operation Rainfall. And it’s only been about four months since the creation of the new and improved website that you are viewing today. In such a short time we’ve been able to successfully run a fan campaign alongside a community of like-minded gamers, and perhaps we changed a few minds within a certain company.  Today, we’re pleased to announce that we will have a presence at E3 this year, where we will cover the latest and greatest games to come out of the game industry!

Since we want to cover as much of E3 as much as humanly possible, we will be highlighting an assortment of games in addition to those considered niche. Now, before anyone starts any comments about how Operation Rainfall is betraying our audience…. we’re not.

Operation Rainfall has always been dedicated to covering your favorite niche games; we will continue to do so after E3, and that’s a promise.  With that said, when we have the opportunity to attend E3, we’re going to try and give you as much information as possible on everything that comes out of the expo, whether they are games Operation Rainfall would normally cover or not.  However, we can promise you that we will not be mentioning a certain yearly First Person Shooter… other sites will have that covered, and we’d rather not touch that one.

We hope we can be your one-stop destination for any of your E3 needs!

What are you excited for at E3?

  • *Operation Rainfall goes to E3*
*Pandora’s Tower is announced for North America*

    REACTION?

    • RyanOPR

      That would be perfect

    •  “Poetry”, “Priceless”, and any other positive words you can think of that begin with the letter “p”. Heh.

  • Really hope you can find information about the Tales of Series at E3

    • Same here. Oh how I pray we get Xillia and if we have some dumb luck, Tales of the Hearts for the DS. Both titles were trademarked here not too long ago, so it is not out of the question.

  • They will mention the group and announce Pandora’s Tower (and possibly other Wii localizations like Fatal Frame 2 and Dragon Quest Collections). But especially Pandora’s Tower because of the group.

  • What if they were actually invited to E3 by Nintendo to go on stage and present Pandora’s Tower, and this story is actually a ruse?

    • Richard Ross

Would be news to me.  Last time I checked we were going as press, haha

  • DunbansBiggestFanForever

Please please please announce Pandora’s Tower. Lets face it, thats all we really want to see. But congrats on getting to E3 you guys.

  • I like how you don’t even mention that said yearly FPS and then prevent it from even coming up in the search engine to get more views. That’s awesome.

  • XypherCode

Will you be doing a live blog of any of the press conferences? Specifically Nintendo’s 😀

    • Richard Ross

If we get into those we’ll try our best to set up something like that.  The conferences, while they revolve around E3, aren’t part of the expo, so we technically have to contact each of the companies press firms and see if there’s any more room.  We only found out about a couple days ago and weren’t really expecting to get in, so we’re sort of in a crunch time now, haha.  Cross your fingers!

    • XypherCode

Haha good luck to all of you then 😀
