We here at oprainfall don’t just love video games: we’re big fans of anime, too. So in celebration of the medium, we’re here to give you our thoughts on what we’ve been watching each week as we watch it. Old, new – anything goes.

My Dress-Up Darling

This week’s episode sees Marin and Inui finally have their group cosplay shoot. Though before they get to the shoot, we once again get to see some great interactions between Gojo and Marin, and we also get to see the girls try out their cosplays before the big collab. But the real star of this episode was Inui’s sister, Shinju. Shinju tried to suppress her urge to cosplay, but Gojo really stepped up by not only talking to her about this, he also helped her make the outfit she wanted, all while keeping it a secret from Marin and Inui. Their effort in trying to make the costume was pretty hilarious, and I enjoyed Shinju and Gojo’s interactions. I especially liked getting a look at what Gojo thinks of Marin and what she means to him. This all wrapped up with a nice, wholesome moment when Marin and Inui finally saw the fruits of Gojo and Shinju’s labor. Once again, My Dress-Up Darling delivered, and this show should still be on everyone’s radar. – Patrick

Princess Connect! Re: Dive

This week we had a few things going on with the Gourmet Guild. Kokkoro had a pretty big part as a robbery had her go along with Suzuna and Misaki, who were introduced. They definitely had humorous parts of the episode, such as how Misaki’s plan to charm the criminals fails badly. Yuuki has had a bit of a change and he remembers more of his past; he’s now started to talk in a less broken manner too. Karyl had a smaller part as she went back to the capital. I would say the next most significant part of the episode was with Pecorine, who has been feeling conflicted. The episode ended with a nice moment between her and Kokkoro and was pretty good. The only thing I would have wanted to see was getting Io to play a little part of the fight in the episode, which overall was pretty short compared to the last few episodes. – Walter

In the Land of Leadale

Picking up immediately from the last we had Cayna return to the village, which resulted in a celebration. The reoccurring gag of her getting drunk and hungover returns after being absent for a while. There was an issue in the village regarding a well which Cayna quickly solves – the cause of which is a bit of surprise, but adds a new member of the village for now. After another moment between Caya and Lytt, she heads out once again. She meets one of the players who heads the kingdom’s knights once again and travels with them. While Cayna is extremely overpowered, it was nice to see things turned on her even just a little bit, though she ends up impressing many of the knights with her cooking skills. The episode ends with a bit of cliffhanger like quite a few of the previous episodes with a set up against another possible player. – Walter

Sabikui Bisco

It’s time for vengeance! After knocking out Bisco at the end of the last episode, Milo goes it alone against Kurokawa to rescue Pawoo and Jabi, who are currently being held captured and tortured. In the course of his rescue attempt, we get to not only see how he’s grown as an apprentice Mushroom Keeper, but also some major revelations regarding Kurokawa, the Rust, and the state of Japanese politics. Just as the tables turn against Milo, Bisco shows up, and I hardcore appreciate the Sailor Moon joke that accompanies his entrance. Kurokawa continues to be just the sleaziest of sleaze and not play fair, and things end up looking entirely too grim for the gang by the end. Compared to last week’s episode, this one was really good and I’m on the edge of my seat seeing where it goes. – Leah
