Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, the 3DS exclusive sequel to the 2010 console game, has finally received a proper release date from Konami. On the fated day of March 8th, 2013, the game will hit European shelves, following the American release of March 5th.
To tide you over until then, Konami has been kind enough to present us with a new trailer, detailing some of Trevor Belmont’s story.
Having had the pleasure of playing a demo of Mirror of Fate earlier this autumn, it definitely has great potential. Apart from the atmosphere and, of course, the music being amazing, the game also seemed to deliver on some great gameplay aspects. It managed to integrate the action of the previous Lords of Shadow with the classical side-scrolling adventure that fans have been longing for.
It remains to be seen if Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will ultimately return the series to its former glory; however, I suppose we will all find out next March.
