It may sound like an odd combination, but the shoot em’ up and puzzle hybrid game, Galacide, has recently launched for the current lineup of major consoles.
Originally released in 2015 on Steam by developer and publisher Puny Human, Galacide provided a unique experience with it’s blend of horizontal shoot em’ up and classic collect three puzzle style gameplay. Features include boss battles, multiple ships to suit different preferences and online and local multiplayer. Checkout the trailer to get a taste of this hybrid in action.

For the intellectually proficient pacifists out there, Puzzle Play does away with the distractions of enemy fire and challenges them with progressively more difficult scenarios.
