Idea Factory International has announced that Azur Lane: Crosswave will head to PC via Steam in early 2020. The Steam version will support multiple subtitle languages including: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and English. The Steam store page is not available at this time.

Azur Lane was originally released in 2017 for Android and iOS devices as a 2D side-scrolling shooter. Crosswave re-imagines the game for PlayStation 4 and PC using the Unreal Engine to bring characters to life with 3D cel-shaded graphics. Players will be able to choose between 4 different modes of play: Story, Extreme Battle, Photo and Episode Mode. The 4 modes are described below.

  • Story Mode: Go through 7 riveting chapters in the footsteps of newcomers, Shimakaze and Suruga.
  • Extreme Battle Mode: Choose from 100+ challenging fleets to battle for rare items and special materials.
  • Photo Mode: Pose characters, change facial expressions, alter backgrounds, and camera angles to create a picturesque moment.
  • Episode Mode: Play 50+ sub-stories that deliver character backgrounds

Azur Lane: Crosswave is developed by Idea Factory, Compile Heart and FELISTELLA. The game launches for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in early 2020. For more information, please check out its official website HERE.
