Idea Factory International has announced that they are bringing Azur Lane: Crosswave to North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 in 2020. The game will be released both physically and digitally. Crosswave is based on the popular mobile game Azur Lane which is available now for Android and iOS devices.
Crosswave utilizes the Unreal Engine to recreate the characters’ designs in cel-shaded 3D. You can check out some screenshots of the characters below. The characters featured are Ayanami, Javelin, Laffey, Ping Hai and Prinz Eugen.

About Azur Lane (mobile game)
Azur Lane is a side-scrolling shooter created by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi, originally released in 2017 for iOS and Android platforms. The Shanghai-based publisher, Yostar, published the Japanese and English version of the mobile game, popularizing the game to more mobile users across the world. The game takes place in a world where personified battleships from around the globe engage in side-scrolling shooter gameplay.
