The Messenger by Sabotage Studio was a big hit in the world of indie games when it originally launched August 30th of last year on Steam and Nintendo Switch with it’s retro charm and tight platforming. Soon PS4 owners will have their chance to experience what it’s like to be the coolest kind of paper boy as you make your way up a mountain to deliver and important message.
Sabotage Studio also revealed some information regarding some upcoming free DLC in the form of an additional standalone storyline called Picnic Panic! A handful of additional levels where the player embarks on a tropical adventure! You can expect Picnic Panic this summer, and you can play a bit of it at PAX East.
The Messenger will be out on PS4 March 19th for $19.99 USD. You can check out the press release below for more details, and if you would like to read our review of the Switch version you can check that out here too. I’m sure you can expect a very similar experience on PS4.
