Today patch 1.30 was released for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Changes include areas such as damage following a reversal action will deal damage to the red health gauge. There is now a minimum damage guarantee for partner skills, EX skills, and reversal action skills. Hitting an opponent with a class assault from a partner will knock them down. A number of changes were also done regarding partners such as an increase in recovery speed for red health and upping the effective time of skill gauge recovery. Collision boxes will also be removed during a partner character’s tech recovery.
Cross burst was another area of focus. Cross burst won’t be available when blocking attacks while resonance blaze is active. If a partner skill is unavailable, the cross gauge will be darkened. The time it takes for characters to land on the ground from being knocked back by cross burst is the same with every character now. A few other changes were made such as with guard point with chip damage taken during it won’t reach 0 anymore, and the red health gauge will remain during activation.
Additionally, there have been changes made to the characters along with a number of minor bug fixes. It was noted that replay data was not an area updated in this patch, and replay data from earlier versions will not be playable after this patch.
