XSEED Games Announces London Detective Mysteria, Anime Expo 2018 Presence

XSEED Games have announced that they will be publishing visual novel London Detective Mysteria, that originally released in Japan as ikoku Tantei Mysteria: The Crown. Those attending can enjoy a first hands on demo with London Detective Mysteria during Anime Expo 2018 from July 5-8. This title has been rated M for Mature and will be published digitally for PlayStation Vita and Windows PC in Fall 2018.

There will also be a localization panel on Friday (6th), and gamers will have a second chance to try out their E3 lineup. More information about that below.

XSEED Games Announces London Detective Mysteria, Anime Expo 2018 Presence with Seven Playable Titles

Get a Second Chance to Play XSEED Games’ E3 Lineup and a First Hands-On with ‘London Detective Mysteria’, and Check Out the Localization Panel Friday for Behind the Scenes Stories

Torrance, Calif. – June 22, 2018 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that they will be publishing the visual novel London Detective Mysteria, originally released in Japan as Eikoku Tantei Mysteria: The Crown, digitally for the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and Windows PC in fall 2018. The publisher will be showing off the first playable version of the game in the west during Anime Expo 2018 from July 5 – 8 in Los Angeles, where they will also be hosting an 18+ localization panel on Friday, July 6 at 8:30PM in room WS2/406AB.

In addition to showing off London Detective Mysteria, XSEED Games will have their full E3 lineup of games available for hands-on demos including Fate/EXTELLA Link, Freedom Planet, Gungrave VR, Gal Metal, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal, plus all sorts of goodies available for sale at their booth. Attendees interested in what goes on behind the scenes with game localization can attend the XSEED Games Localization Panel (18+) taking place at 8:30PM on Friday, July 6 in room WS2/406AB to hear localization staff talk about current projects. Be sure to stay until the end for a Q&A and raffle.

About London Detective Mysteria [PlayStation®Vita system Playable]

Eschew the frivolities of 19^th century London’s high society and instead delve into the curiosities that lie hidden in London’s darkest corners in London Detective Mysteria. Playing as the heiress of House Whiteley, players will name their own Lady Whiteley as they investigate mysteries of London and interact with personalities inspired by famous fictional characters including Detective Holmes, Jack the Ripper, and more. Take full control over the experience by adjusting text speed or even the individual speaking volumes of individual characters and their original Japanese voices. Players must choose their words carefully as they interact with other characters, as decisions made throughout the story will not only affect special rewards but will also shape whether Lady Whiteley finds love or something more sinister in the shadows of 19^th century London.

About Fate/EXTELLA LINK[PlayStation®4 system Playable]

Picking up where the story ended in Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, Fate/EXTELLA LINK expands the roster of playable Servants with 10 legendary heroes added to the original selection of 16. These newly added Servants hail from other entries in the Fate series and include the likes of Astolfo, Scàthach, and Francis Drake. The high-speed action gameplay of Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star returns with improved visuals and new battle mechanics in both single-player and an added multiplayer mode supporting 4-on-4 online battles on PlayStation®4 system. Players will also be able to move freely around their new base camp—a medieval cathedral suspended in the sky—and interact with Servants to build bonds with them.

Developed by Marvelous and slated for publishing in North America on PS4™ system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system by XSEED Games, Fate/EXTELLA LINK will release this winter both digitally and physically on PS4™ system and digitally on “PS Vita” system. About Gungrave VR [PlayStation®VR Playable]

In Gungrave VR, players take control of Grave with his iconic set of dual guns, Cerberus, and will have to master different playstyles to take down the various foes that stand in his way. Levels consist either of free-moving third-person gameplay or first-person action that includes both stationary and mobile sections, offering players a variety of modes to help put them in the shoes of the resurrected Millennion agent himself. With an array of shooting attacks, close-range strikes using Grave’s coffin, Bullet Time, and more, Gungrave VR brings an authentic Gungrave experience to virtual reality for the very first time.

About Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin [PlayStation®4 system Playable]

In Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, players take on the role of Sakuna, a proud yet lonely harvest goddess who is banished to a dangerous island with a group of outcast humans. Sakuna tames the island by defeating demons using farm tools as weapons while also making ample use of her “celestial scarf,” a magical item that allows her to grapple distant enemies and platforms. Along the way, she establishes a home in a mountain village, which serves as a base of operations for crafting weapons and cooking food. Additionally, as a harvest goddess, she grows rice by following a detailed process that encompasses everything from planting to harvesting. Through this process, across each of the four seasons, she’s able to improve the harvest and hone her battle skills alike.
