Independent Argentine developer 3f Interactivo will release an iOS port of its Windows PC point-and-click science-fiction adventure Reversion: The Escape October 11, 2012. Players will assume the role of Cristian, an amnesiac who awakens in a subjugated Buenos Aires in the year 2035. 3f promises “a mature story with charismatic characters.” The iOS version will support six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Chinese. Unlike the freeware Windows version, the iOS version will cost US$2.99 / €2.39.
The Escape is the first chapter of Reversion and 3f’s first game. The second and third chapters will be entitled The Meeting and The Return. 3f narrowly secured funding for The Meeting August 2012 through crowdfunding services Indiegogo and Ideame, and development is underway. The 3f staff claim they have “enough plot to produce at least 6 chapters, and based on the amount gathered [through Indiegogo and Ideame], we will develop as many chapters as we can.”
