Do you remember Edward Scissorhands, Tim Burton’s dark satirical fantasy film from the 80’s about an artificially created man who tries to fit into suburban life with his dangerous appendages? Well Kotobukiya has opened up preorders for a new figure based on Edward, in its Bishoujo line of pretty girl statues. Illustrator Shunya Yamashita’s reimagining of Edward retains the scissor hands and wild hair, but has her wearing a torn up gothic dress outfit with black buckles all over, and high heel boots.
