Special Mentions For Our Audience

A Virus Named Tom – PS Vita Digital (Free With PS Plus)

I previously mentioned this puzzle game in my PS Plus free games article here. Looks like a very interesting puzzle addition to my PS Vita library.

Amplitude – PS3 Digital (Cross-Buy With PS4)

For those who either do not own a PS4 or missed this release the first time, the new version of Amplitude is out now for PS3 and it is cross-buy with the PS4 version. The classic rhythm game has returned and retained much of it’s old thrill. Sadly missing the licenced tunes, so expect a lot of dance music.

Dead Star – PS4 Digital (Free With PS Plus)

Another game that I featured on the Monthly PS Plus games article above. A multiplayer shooter strategy game that has been featured on the main stage of the Sony Press Conference.

Enter the Gungeon – PS4 Digital

This is a very interesting indie game. It is a pixel graphics rogue-like dungeon crawler, that much makes it very common. However, it is themed around guns and shooting instead of the swords and sorcery that we are used to. In fact, it takes the gun theme to such extreme that all the enemies are gun themed as well. Peon enemies are typically walking sentient bullets. Embrace the weird people.

Mega Man Legends 2 – Digital PS One Classic

Mega Man Legends 2

This one is a very well regarded entry into the Mega Man Universe by many long time fans. Sadly there was not many releases for the blue bomber until the surprise indie sensation Mega Man 9 many years later. Sadly with the state of this series, you may want to poor one out while playing this title and embracing the nostalgia.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore – PS Vita Digital (Cross Buy With PS4)

The great second entry in the Skullgirls fighting game series arrives on the PS Vita. The game is has very cool aesthetics and design, but beneath that paint is a solid fighting engine that you would expect from Mike after his many years in the FGC.
