Our interview with Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi wrapped up with quiet the teaser for another one of his works, Punch Line. We asked if there was any possibility that the game could be localized. Uchikoshi-san responded:
Unfortunately I’m not allowed to comment on that at the moment, but there should be news coming soon. So stay tuned.
This leads us to believe that the game could possibly be coming West in the future. For those who don’t know, Punch Line is an anime written by Uchikoshi-san about a boy, Yuta, forced out of his body after a busjacking gone wrong. He is then made to travel the halls of his house as a spirit looking for a way to get his body back. This over-the-top anime is littered with hilarious moments, action-heroes and other distractions for the protagonist. The only thing the Yuta can’t seem to handle is… panties.
The Punch Line game is being developed for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will be released in Japan on April 28. Additionally, this adventure-visual novel allows players to access multiple endings different from the anime’s ending.
Punch Line is available on April 28 in Japan.
