Yen Press announced earlier on Twitter that they had licensed three titles for release in the West. These three titles are The Asterisk War, Re:Zero, and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Sword Oratoria. You can check out the three Twitter posts announcing the news below.

Yen Press will release The Asterisk War in both light novel and manga format. The light novel is written by Yuu Miyazaki and illustrated by Okiura. It was first published by Media Factory under their MF Bunko J imprint in September 2012. There are currently 8 volumes released. The Asterisk War manga is illustrated by Ningen and was also published by Media Factory in Monthly Comic Alive. There are currently 3 volumes released for the manga. They hope to release the first volumes for both the light novel and manga in Summer 2016.
The Asterisk War currently has an anime adaptation that is currently ongoing. It is produced by A-1 Pictures and is set for 24 episodes. The anime is licensed by Aniplex of America and is streaming on Funimation, Crunchyroll and Daisuki. A synopsis for the series is provided by Funimation:
Less than a century ago a meteor collided with the planet’s surface and the resulting disaster caused the next generation of humanity to develop a wide variety of amazing abilities. In the center of the meteor’s crater lies Rikka, a system of six academies known as the Asterisk. To stand against her he’ll have to rely on his own sword-wielding ability, but when the tables turn, will they be able to team up to take down the competition?
Yen Press will release Re:Zero (Re:Zero kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu) in both light novel and manga format as well. The light novel is written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. It is published by Media Factory under their MF Bunko J imprint. The light novel was first released in January 2014 and currently has 7 volumes released. The original light novel inspired three manga adaptations. The three manga adaptations are titled Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Daiisshō – Ōto no Ichinichi-hen, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Dainishō – Yashiki no Isshūkan-hen, and Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Daisanshō – Truth of Zero. The light novel and manga are planned for release in Summer 2016.

The Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Sword Oratoria light novel will be published by Yen Press in the West sometime in 2016. Sword Oratoria is a spinoff of the original DanMachi light novels and focuses on Aiz Wallenstein. The spinoff light novel is written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura. It is published by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint. It was first published in January 2014 and currently has 5 volumes published.
The original DanMachi light novel and manga were both licensed by Yen Press for release in the West. It was adapted into a 13 episode anime produced by GENCO. The anime is licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
