NIS America has announced that the Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season Premium Edition Blu ray is now available for preorder. Along with this NIS America is also opening up preorders for the Standard Edition of Love Live! School Idol Project Season 1. Both the 2nd season Blu ray as well as the 1st season rerelease will include English dubs.
There are multiple different preorder options to choose from one. You can preorder the Standard Edition 1st season or the Premium Edition 2nd Season standalone or you can preorder one of the many bundles NIS America put up for preorder. Two of these bundles come with the Soundtrack for the 2nd Season of Love Live! School Idol Project. For now, we will provide the information for the standalone preorder options below.
First off here are synopses of the 1st and 2nd Season from the NIS America Online Store.
1st Season
The traditional school Otonokizaka High is situated between the three towns of Akihabara, Kanda, and Jimbocho. This school is also in imminent danger of closing. Because of this crisis, the second year student Honoka Kosaka takes center stage with eight others to do something about it! “To protect the school we love so much, we have to do all we can… We have to become school idols! By becoming idols and advertising how great our school is to the world, more students will want to apply!”
2nd Season
At the intersection of three cities—Akihabara, Kanda, and Jinbocho—the traditional Otonokizaka High was facing a crisis of being closed down. Second-year student, Honoka Kosaka, decided to become a school idol, a trend that has been growing in popularity, in order to increase the number of students applying for her school. With her childhood friends, Kotori Minami and Umi Sonoda, they combined their efforts to form the group, μ’s.
A while later, Maki Nishikino, a songwriter, Hanayo Koizumi, who always dreamed of being a school idol, Rin Hoshizora, Hanayo’s friend, and Nico Yazawa, the president of the Idol Study Club, joined the group, all with the aim of entering the school idol festival, Love Live.
Additionally, Eli Ayase, the student council president, and Nozomi Tojo, the student council vice president, joined μ’s, bringing the group to a total of nine members. After overcoming many problems, ranging from the closing of the school to Kotori’s study-abroad incident to μ’s going on hiatus, what will the girls aim for next!?
