NIS America has announced via press release that the very unique Vita puzzler htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary will be released in a physical edition, a premium edition, and a digital edition in North America February 24. The physical edition and premium edition will be exclusive to the new NISA Online Store in the U.S. The premium edition will include an art book, a music CD, and a special box. The game will be available in Europe February 25th as a digital-only title.

[Editor’s note: The NISA Online Store didn’t stop me from creating a pre-order to Canada for the standard or limited edition, and it listed many other countries as selectable destinations, including European countries. However, this could merely be an error on NISA’s part. Make of that what you will.]

htoL#NiQ: THE FIREFLY DIARY COMING TO
NORTH AMERICA ON FEBRUARY 24!

Santa Ana, CA (November 18, 2014) – NIS America is excited to announce that the
puzzle action game, htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary will be available February 24 in
North America as a PlayStation®Vita exclusive! Digital copies of the game will be
available on PSN and physical copies will be available exclusively for the US
through our new NIS Online Store. This title will also be available in Europe on
February 25 as a digital-only release. In this atmospheric title, you’ll use the Vita’s
touchscreen and rear touch pad to navigate a young girl through dangerous ruins.
Two fairies—one operating in light, and the other in shadow—must work in
tandem to uncover this girl’s memories and save her from the darkest of fates.

About the game:
In the depths of a labyrinthine ruin, a young girl named Mion rises from a deep
sleep. Lost, alone, and with no memory of how she got here or where her parents
are, she is greeted by two fireflies—one composed entirely of light, and another
who lurks among the shadows. By shifting between a world of light and a world of
shadows, these two fireflies must work together to recover Mion’s memories and
lead her out of the ruins, where voracious shadow beasts, ancient machines, and
treacherous traps lie in wait to bar her path. But what secrets do Mion’s lost
memories contain? What is the connection between her, the ruins, and the
fireflies lighting her escape? The answers may reveal a deeper darkness—one that
must be faced from within..
