What? You read the title and you’re still here? Then you must need some convincing. Speaking as somebody who has beaten Shovel Knight once and is eagerly tackling it a second time in New Game+, let me tell you – the music in this game is absolutely phenomenal. If you don’t know how good Virt’s tunes are, then remedy that fact and check out his Bandcamp page. The OST is comprised of 48 delicious retro tracks that deserve to be listened to again and again. Better yet, being on Bandcamp, there is very flexible payment, but I highly recommend you donate whatever you can to the talented Mr. Kaufman. His skills are incredible, a realization I have come to after playing this retro masterpiece. So shoo! Go throw money at him! Shovelry demands it.
