This week’s Nintendo Download for Europe includes the following new content. Game descriptions are copied directly from the press release.
Nintendo eShop on Wii U:
Wii Sports™ Club: Day Pass; Wii Sports™ Club: Bowling – Single-Sport Pass; Wii Sports™ Club: Tennis – Single-Sport Pass – The five beloved sports from the original Wii Sports – bowling, tennis, baseball, boxing and golf – make a dramatic and competitive return on Wii U! The games are being released individually as downloads featuring HD graphics, enhanced controls via Wii MotionPlus technology, as well as a much-requested online multiplayer versus mode.
Tennis and Bowling will be the first two sports available from Nintendo eShop on 7th November, with Boxing, Baseball and Golf scheduled to launch in the months ahead. Wii U owners who download Wii Sports Club will get a trial pass that will let them play any available games for a 24-hour period from when the Wii Sports Club game is started.
Once the trial period ends, players can purchase a Day Pass on Nintendo eShop for €1.99 (£1.79) to play all available sports for a 24-hour period, or can buy permanent access to individual sports (Single-Sport Pass) for €9.99 (£8.99) each.
Batman: Arkham Origins – Arkham Origins is the next instalment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young, unrefined Batman as he faces the defining moment of his early career and sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. This game will be available to download from November 7th, and will cost €59.99 (£49.99).
Toki Tori – Toki Tori is the first of three Two Tribes classics to arrive on Nintendo eShop for Wii U. Next up will be 3D puzzler RUSH and retro platformer EDGE. While the classic gameplay has remained intact, Toki Tori has been adapted to make use of the Wii U GamePad, allowing for off-TV play and optional touch controls. The gameplay in Toki Tori is a blend of two genres. While it looks like a platform game, it’s a puzzle game at heart. To progress through the game, the player must pick up each egg in a level using a set number of tools. Players will have to look and plan ahead carefully while using items such as the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock™. Additional tools are gradually introduced as the player progresses through the game’s 80+ levels covering five unique worlds. This game will be available to download from November 7th and will initially cost €1.99 (£1.79), before going up to €3.99 (£3.59) on December 6th.
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games – Join Mario and Sonic and the rest of your favourite characters as they team up and compete in events at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The game includes a variety of events from the Winter Games, including bobsleigh, skiing, figure skating pairs and snowboard slope style – which will make its Olympic Games debut in Sochi, Russia. This game will be available for download from November 8th, and will cost €49.99 (£39.99).

KORG M01D – The KORG M01D is a music workstation based on the KORG M1, the world’s first widely known synthesizer. The KORG M01D reproduces the M1’s unforgettable digital sounds of the 80s such as the“M1 piano”, still heard on many songs today. This game will be available for download from November 7th, and will cost €24.99 (£19.99).
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a 2.5-D game developed by Armature Studios that brings the Batman Arkham experience for the first time to Nintendo 3DS. A companion game to Batman: Arkham Origins, players can continue the storyline of the console version and discover more details of the Dark Knight’s past. This game will be available from November 7th, and will cost €39.99 (£34.99).
My Little Baby 3D – Didn‘t you always want to care for a sweet little baby? Then this is your chance. You start with a description of the parents, as the colour of their skin, hair and eyes will determine the looks of the baby. Finally it is there – your own little darling. The baby smiles at you and you need to work hard to keep it content. To make sure that your baby develops and grows, you have to swaddle it, bathe and feed it, go shopping, cook meals and rock it to sleep. You can teach your baby to speak, to crawl and to walk. But above all you have to give it your love, because only then it will be happy. This game will be available from November 7th, and will cost €29.99 (£24.99).
Brunch Panic – Ever dreamed of running your own food truck? Or traveling to the places you’ve always dreamed about? Here’s the story of Bonnie, a young bright-eyed girl, with a talent for cooking and a love of travel and adventure. One fateful birthday, her grandfather presented her with a gift that combined her two passions. A brunch truck! And so began her dream adventure, traveling all over the world with one brunch spot at a time. This game will be available from November 7th, and will cost €3.99 (£3.35).
Arcade Classics 3D – 6 of the most playable games of all time – Puzzles, action, shooters, all in one purchase! Play the great classics today in modern themes in 3D environments. This game will be available from November 7th, and will initially cost €2.99 (£2.50) before going up to €3.99 (£3.30) from November 29th.
Regular Show™: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-Bit Land – Regular Show™: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-bit Land is the very first video game based on the Cartoon Network TV Show. When Mordecai and Rigby get transported into some mysterious video games, they’ll have to use their best skills and unique abilities to traverse the various challenges to escape and get back home in this brand new ‘eggscellent’ journey. This hijinks-filled adventure is packed with action platforming, side-scroller space shooting, old-school top down video game mania, and comes fully loaded with fan-favourite characters and humour from the show. This game will be available from November 8th, and will cost €34.99 (£28.49).
Professor Layton and the Arzan Legacy – The final chapter of the Professor Layton series takes puzzle solving around the globe in the gentleman professor’s most ambitious outing to date. After receiving a mysterious letter claiming that a living mummy has been discovered, Professor Layton and his team head to a city nestled in the frigid Arctic. There, they release a young lady encased in a prison of ice, setting in motion a grand adventure aboard an airship that will take them to spectacular places as they solve the mysteries of ancient civilisations. This game will be available from November 8th, and will cost €44.99 (£39.99).
