Well guys and gals, it’s that time again, meaning let’s get the latest and greatest games courtesy of the Nintendo Download! This week is fixated on a classic FPS game, but it also has some other goodies. For one thing, there’s a sweet NISA sale to check out. For another, there’s some good digital goodies, as well as the regular sales. So let’s stop this intro and move onto the featured games.
Though us here at oprainfall aren’t huge fans of FPS titles, many of us grew up loving classics. One such marriage of classic and FPS is DOOM. It’s hard not to love monsters in space, and this week, the Nintendo Download has a whole host of demonic goodness to enjoy. First up is the classic DOOM from 1993, featuring 4 player Deathmatch and Thy Flesh Consumed expansion. Then you can move onto DOOM II, which has the Master Levels created by the gaming community. Finally, you can cap things off with DOOM 3, which reimagines the original for Nintendo fans for the first time. But if that’s not enough, then you can also enjoy digital board game Pandemic. Next up, let’s move onto the fancy NISA sale.
If you’re the type of dood that likes crazy and unexpected games, you should check out the NISA sale, going from today until August 9th. Many of these are half off at least, so there’s some great opportunities. I won’t list all the games, but I will cover some of the highlights. Those are the following – Culdcept Revolt, Disgaea 5 Complete, Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory, GOD WARS The Complete Legend, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, Lapis x Labyrinth, The Lost Child, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Touhou Gensou Wanderer Reloaded and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA.
